I am proud to announce that Sourcepass has passed our SOC2 Type II Audit and is now officially SOC2 Type II certified! This certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of our corporate infrastructure and sets the security framework of our environment for the good of our staff and for the good of our clients.
As was described when we attained SOC2 Type I certification a few months ago, Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 certification is a widely accepted security framework relevant to many regulated industries, including technology service providers, who wish to meet standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a variety of other institutions.
SOC2 Type I certification means that an external auditor had assessed our organization’s scope and design of internal control processes. However, this report only evaluated controls at a certain point in time without monitoring performance over a period of time. SOC2 Type II certification can only be achieved after the external auditor examines the operating effectiveness of these controls over a specified period of time.
Obtaining SOC2 Type II compliance was a rigorous and lengthy process that required the dedication and hard work of our entire team. Our compliance signifies that our company has implemented and follows strict policies and procedures that protect the integrity of our internal environments and our clients, ensuring their continued trust in our services. I am excited to see the positive impact this certification will have on our company’s future.
